Residential Home Manager (EMI) – Liverpool - £30,000 per annum - J7747JW

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced residential manager; who is strong in the areas of people management and care provision. The post will see you managing a small home which caters for the needs of individuals suffering from dementia and EMI related conditions. The home is owned by a small independent provider of care, and is set in a beautiful property which boasts excellent facilities and a homely environment.

My client is seeking an experienced manager, as the home is currently struggling due to prior mismanagement. The home has recently come under scrutiny from regulatory bodies due to issues with care provision and documentation so it is essential that you have previous experience of turning around/ maintaining standards in a residential home. They are looking for someone who can hit the ground running, and effectively communicate an action plan for the home. This will prove a challenging role, which needs someone who has a strong leadership style.

Essential requirements for the role;

• Prior residential home management experience, and or service management experience
• Experience of working alongside regulatory bodies
• A strong and effective leadership style
• Excellent communication skills; both written and oral
• A friendly and approachable manner

Desirable requirements for the role

• Previous experience of managing an EMI/ Dementia focussed service
• NVQ 4 in Management and Leadership or equivalent
