On behalf of a successful, well respected organisation I am looking for a General Manager to oversee one of their superb new Nursing Homes in the Colchester area of Essex...

This large home is modern and purpose built and there are some fantastic facilities on site including a hairdressers, alternative therapy room, activity suite, sensory garden and library.

My client is looking for a new General Manager to oversee the day to day running of this fantastic home. Your role will include but is not limited to budgeting, marketing the home, recruitment/ training of staff, ensuring the home is run in accordance with the company's policies and procedures, ensuring the health, social care needs and wellbeing of residents is of a high standard.

In order to be considered for this fantastic opportunity you will ideally be a Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN), you will need to hold a relevant Management qualification (NVQ 4/ RMA/ LMC) and ideally have more than 3 years experience of managing a home catering for people requiring Nursing and Dementia care.

In return for your passion and commitment my client is offering a competitive salary of up to £50'000 plus various benefits including a bonus scheme and annual leave.
