On behalf of a fantastic private care provider I am looking for a Home Manager for one of their fantastic care homes in Hertfordshire...

The home is a fantastic 45 bedded care home situated in a convenient location near Letchworth Garden City therefore is accessible from Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire. It is an old edwardian building that has been carefully refurbished to provide high quality care to older people who may be affected by dementia, the home has been formally recognised for the excellent care they give and it has an excellent local reputation.

My client is looking for a Home Manager to oversee the day to day smooth running of the home, your duties will include but may not be limited to devising staff rota's, recruitment of staff, appraisals, disciplinaries, audits, liaising with relatives, social workers, GP's and other health professionals.

The succesful candidate will have 2+ years Home Management experience (although strong Deputy Manager's will be considered), be able to demonstrate a passion for elderley and dementia care and you will ideally hold the RMA or equivalent. You will possess excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), be highly organised and committed in your approach.

In return for your passion and commitment my client is offering the succesful person a competitive salary that is negotiable (circa £35'000) plus an excellent bonus and pay/progression structure.
